Janice Lynn Jackson, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at her home. She was born April 8, 1949 in Merced, California, to Kenneth and Oneva (Jenkins) Hoover. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and dice, listening to country music, going to car shows, and being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Rickie (Rhonda) King of Fort Wayne, and Ronnie (Tina) King of New Haven; daughters, Tammy (Jack) Fielitz, and Jana (James) Menzie, both of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson; her parents; and her brother, Gary Conner. Visitation for Janice will be held from 5-7pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Services will be at 11am on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior, with burial to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
