Jean J. Hofacker, 89, died Friday, March 6, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 24, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Edmund and Eleanor Brager. Jean was Lead Operator at General Electric for 15 years. Then after retiring from GE, Jean and Charles owed and operated Crossroads Inn in Columbia City, IN for seven years. She was a member of Praise Lutheran Church and G.E. Elex Club.

Surviving are her children, Karl (June) Bredemeyer, Mark (Sharon) Bredemeyer, Marsha (David) Gutierrez, 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Bredemeyer, second husband, Robert Kessie, and last husband Karl Hofacker and a sister, Jane Oetting, brother Edmund Brager Jr.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are to Praise Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse.
