Jean Veronica Booker, 75, passed away Sunday November 10, 2013. She was born February 22, 1938 in Munhall, PA to the late John and Rose (Wall) Garrity. Jean was a nurses aide and patient escort having worked at Lutheran Hospital and I.M.A.

Surviving are her husband, James E. Booker; son, James (Carla) Booker; Jeanne (Paul) Flynn; Linda (Curt) Esterline, brothers, Paul and Ronald Garrity; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Cadman.

Memorial Service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday November 12, 2013 at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. Preferred memorial to Fisher House Foundation 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420 | Rockville, Maryland 20850. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
