Jeanne Lynn Bryers, 70, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, October 13, 2013. Born here in Fort Wayne, she spent her formative years at St. Vincents Villa. She then married the late, Dale Bryers and raised three children. She retired from Fort Wayne City Utilities in 2008, after 15 years of service. During her retirement she then formed a club called The Grammies.

She is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Christopher) Crapser of Churubusco and Pam Bryers-Dunlap of Fort Wayne; and three grandchildren, Vaughn, Courtney and Casie Crapser; half brother, "Jr." Arnold (Tina) Welch; uncle, Richard (Betty) Faust; nieces, JoAnna (Ben) Lane, Cindy Welch and Kim (Chad) Nieckarz; nephew, Michael (April) Welch and Chris Welch; great nieces, Marley, Adrienne, Jamee, Randi and Brooklynn; and a great nephew, Jaxon and Chance.

She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Bryers; mother, Betty Snyder; brother, Robert Welch; and sister, Cheryle Welch

Visitation from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m then service at 4:30 p.m. with a dinner following, Friday, October 18, 2013 at St Johns Lutheran Church of Lake Township, 7914 West Cook Road. In honor of her grandchildren, memorials are to Fort Wayne Children''s Zoo.
