Jeri Lynne Mayfield, 73,   passed away April 25, 2021. Born November 19, 1947 in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was the daughter of George and Marilyn Mayhew.   Jeri graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree  from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN in 1969. She taught at Westville High School for ten years. She was a coordinator for 21 ^st Century Scholars from 2006 to 2009. She worked for Ivy Tech as a program assistant for Trio and retired from Ivy Tech as a Trio Coordinator in 2017. She was an avid reader and enjoyed mentoring youth.

She is survived by her niece, Dana (Rusty) Bottomley, Nephew, Jeff (Mimsy) Rahe, and brother-in-law, Phil Rahe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister, Sherry Rahe, niece, Wende McCleary.

Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021, calling will be 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m.  Wednesday, April, 28, 2021   at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, She will be interred at Covington Memorial Gardens.
