Jerry D. Riley, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 9, 2026, at home with Sandy by his side. He was born in Fort Wayne on June 23, 1947, to Melvin and Anna (Gehrig) Riley.

Jerry married Sandra “Sandy” Bellamy, and they shared 55 wonderful years together. Sandy was his everything. He was a devoted husband and an excellent father who cherished his family.

Jerry enjoyed golfing, playing guitar, listening to music, and watching football, especially Notre Dame. He and Sandy loved traveling and were fortunate to visit more than 15 countries together. Jerry was a member of the Elks and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Jody (Ed) Langston; grandchildren, Haley (Josh), Tyler, Bailey, and Dalton (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Norah, Jackson, Rhett, and one great-grandchild soon to arrive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Anna and a grandson, Kyle.

Services will be private. Interment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.
