Jesse Lee Tolbert Sr., 56, of Fort Wayne, Passed away Wed. Dec. 26, 2007 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born the son of Leroy and Willie Tolbert on May 6, 1951 in Uniontown Alabama. He was a maintenance worker for Sun Homes and had previously worked for Lincoln Food Service and Slater Steel. "A loving, caring, compassionate man with the million dollar smile. Liked by all and loved by many". He is survived by his wife, Ramona Tolbert; son, Jesse Lee Tolbert II; daughters, Cassandra Tolbert, Amber Tolbert, and Sarah Tolbert, all of Fort Wayne; brothers, Howard (Valarie) Tolbert, Leroy Tolbert, and Luddie Tolbert all of Fort Wayne, Don (Deborah) Tolbert of Alabama, David (Eula) Tolbert of South Carolina, and Derek (Mary) Tolbert of Georgia; sisters, Willie (Mac) Starks, and Sarah (Ernest) Dowdell both of Fort Wayne, Martha Smith, and Roberta Reese both of Alabama; five brother-in-laws, and two sister-in-laws. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Monday 1 p.m. with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling also Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
