Jessica J. Graves-Stewart, 38, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born September 12, 1983 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of David K. and Lynn A. (Linder) Graves.  Growing up, Jessica attended Concordia High School and later received an associates degree at Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Together for over 17 years, Jessica married Shane L. Stewart of Fort Wayne on June 12, 2015.  Inseparably, they shared in life's many celebrations for nearly two decades.  They made their home in Fort Wayne where they cherished two dogs, Coco and Sadie.  Through this marriage, Jessica inherited a son, Shane M. Stewart, Jr., and a daughter, Morgan A. Stewart.

Jessica's life was filled with joy and triumph.  She took pride in caring for others, especially that of her family.  A mother of two daughters, Chloe L. Myers and Cami L. Werrell, Jessica was unwavering in her motherly, giving nature.  She regularly took pleasure in helping those in need locally and cared for her grandmother, Janet L. (Zuber) Linder, until her passing.  As hobbies, Jessica enjoyed baking and homemaking, stunning the community with her Christmas cookies and impeccable gift wrapping annually.

Among resilience, kindness, and benevolence, Jessica will be remembered for her radiant smile.  With every room she entered, she brought a warm presence filled with laughter and gentleness.  As time passes, it will never diminish the great honor and blessing it was to know her beauty and grace.  It is through the hearts of those she touched that her memory will live on eternally.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Shane L. Stewart; mother, Lynn A. (Linder) Graves; grandmother, Mary A. Graves; sister, Stephanie A. Graves; brother Logan K. Graves; daughters, Chloe L. Myers and Cami L. Werrell; stepson, Shane M. Stewart, Jr.; stepdaughter, Morgan A. Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, David K. Graves; and grandparents, Dave K. Graves and Janet L. (Zuber) Linder.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Lindenwood Cemetery, Bohn Chapel, Fort Wayne from 11am-1pm.  Burial is at Lindenwood Cemetery beginning at 1pm.  Arrangements are by Covington Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
