Jewel Mullins Swink went to be with the Lord Jesus Thursday January 13, 2022, at Parkview Hospice, Fort Wayne.  Born in Dorton,  Kentucky April 20, 1935, "Julie" was the daughter of the late Calvin and Cassie Mullins.

Julie worked at Peter Echrich, L.S. Ayers, and retired from Lincoln Life and Macy's.  She loved Jesus and worked with many people.  She ran a TV camera for a Christian television program, fostered jail girls, led the women's group at Imago Dei church and was a greeter at Imago Dei church which became Calvary Christian Fellowship church where she attended faithfully as her illness would allow.  She enjoyed praising the Lord and doing things together with the love of her life, her husband, Stu.

Julie is survived by her husband, Stuart N. Swink, Jr.; children, Kevin Cox, Melanie Cox, Stuart N. Swink, III, Waneta (Bob) Shoemaker, Melissa (Don) Ingram, and Summer (Alan) Robbins; she had lots of grandchildren: Lindsey Lupton, Chris Cox, and 15 others; 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, "TATA", who she adored.  She is also survived by sister-in-law, Reba Joyce Mullins, and brother-in-law, Ralph Amann.

Julie was preceded in death by Ruby Calhoun, Thomas "Jack" Mullins, Betty Amann, Mary Simon, and Billy Gene Mullins.

Family will receive friends from 5:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday, January 20 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN  46804.  Celebration of life will be 11:00am Friday, January 21, with visitation one hour prior, also at Covington Memorial.  In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Calvary Christian Church, P.O.
