Jim Lee Wilkinson, 70, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  He was born on February 20, 1948 in Fort Wayne and raised by Hilard "Red" and Lucille "Olli-eye" Hiner.   Jim was a United States Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post 241 Waynedale.  His passion was his gardening and maintaining a pristine yard.

Jim is survived by his wife, Gillian; children, Michael (April), Misty and Bradley Wilkinson; brothers, Dale Wilkinson, Greg (Gaye) Bodeen, Tony (Linda) Weaver, Derek and DeAnn Bodeen; and nine grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Ronald J. Wilkinson and Betty Wilkinson-Bodeen, his brother, Ronald "Skip" Wilkinson and furry companion Rascal.

Family remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  Calling is also 5-8 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018 at the funeral home.  He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Preferred memorials are to N.E. Indiana Honor Flight or Shepherds House.
