Joan  Emerick, 91, passed away Tuesday, August, 17, 2021. Born in Ft. Wayne, IN she was the daughter of the late Glen and Geneive Courtney. Joan married Harold Emerick he preceded her in death in 2008. Joan was a homemaker. She enjoyed living on lake of the woods and riding in her Pontoon boat. You would see her driving her golf cart around the lake visiting with neighbors.

She is survived by her son, Dave (Nancy) Emerick, daughter, Sandy Emerick, grandchildren, Danielle, Adam, Eric, Kyle and Braden, great- grandchildren, Carson, Gino, Malia, Jase, Gabe, Colt and Jansyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and brother, William Courtney.

Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Monday, August, 23, 2021 with calling from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, she will be interred at Covington Memorial Gardens.
