John Elston, 85, passed away on  August 14, 2023. He was born in Waterloo, IN on November 18, 1937, a son of the late Jay and Mary Ellen Elston.
Upon graduating from High School, John entered the U.S. Navy, serving for 29 years and one month before his retirement. He became an ordained minister after attending Fort Wayne Bible College. John worked at International Harvester and was a Truck Driver before retiring. He was a member of Tillman Church of God.

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Arsula Elston; children, Nedra Holder, Jonett Page; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Tillman Church of God, 3710 E. Tillman Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46816 with calling one hour prior.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tillman Church of God.

Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. IN.
