John W. Hall, 73, passed away June 12, 2021. Born in Frankfort,  Kentucky, He was a son of William Hall and Marilyn (Tracy) Hall.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and the National Guard. He served two terms in Vietnam and twenty years in the National Guard. He was a valorous unit award recipient.  He worked as a Sheriff Deputy  and an optical technician for Soderberg Optical for 40 years. He enjoyed shooting his gun, fishing and loved his service dog, Duchess.

He is survived by his sons, Aaron Hall and John Michael (Barbara) Hall, three grandchildren, Aaron, Megan Goble and Bridget Martin and sister, Karen Hall.

Funeral service is Friday, June 18, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with calling hours from 10:00 a.m.-12:00p.m. prior   at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, He will be interred at Covington Memorial Gardens with military honors.
