JOHN W. KROTKE, of Homewood Ill., formerly of Fort Wayne; passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy M. (nee Boley); loving father of the late Jordan T. Krotke; dear brother of Frederick (the late Ruth) Krotke, Lauranna (John) Jawidowitz and the late Evelyn (the late Howard) Rittenhouse and the late Lillian (the late Jesse) Sims; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Service is 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1126 Barr St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802, would appreciated.
