John Lapunka, 90, died Saturday, August 10, 2013. He was born December 13, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Wasyl and Mary Lapunka. John was founder and CEO of Financial Advisory Clinic and worked for Equitable Life Assurance Co. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Roanoke, a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Anthony Wayne rotary Club for over 50 years.

Surviving are his sister, Ann Bair, daughters, Mary (Joe) Sutton, Martha (David) Guthrie, Caitie (Jerry) Linger, 7 grandchildren, Chris (Jason) Howey, Brooke (Joe) Stanley, Anna Kirsten (Matt) Owens, Becka (Tarik) Pellerin, Nina, Noah and Kit Linger, 3 great-grandchildren, Emma, Aspen Stanley and Holden Owens. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Lapunka in 1983 and a daughter, Nancy Bennett.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 641 N. Main St. Roanoke, IN 46783 with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling Tuesday August 13, 2013 4-8 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Roanoke, IN.
