John Alan Roser, 83, passed Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Parkview Hospital.  He was born October 13, 1936 to the late, George and Edith Roser.    John was a graduate of Elmhurst High School, class of 1956.  On April 27, 1963, he married Mary Helen Rassi, they have celebrated 56 years of marriage together.  John retired from Wayne Pipe and Supply as a purchasing agent.  After retirement John was active with the Allen County United Methodist Habitat Task Force, a volunteer at Parkview North Hospital and Byron Health Center.  He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

John and his wife land cruise coast to coast. He played cards, and enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends.

John is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Roser; daughters, Janet (Tom) Sagstetter Fort Wayne and Alison Roser Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Matthew, Anna and Emily Sagstetter; brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Roser and Steven (Peg) Roser.

John was also preceded in death by a baby sister, Jean Roser.
