Jon Wade Bethay, 66, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, January 23, 2015. John was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was a retired salesman around the Fort Wayne area.

He is survived by mother, Willie Mae "Bill" Trumbauer of Marion; son, Derek (Christy) Bethay of New Haven; sisters, Joy Ault of Central, S.C. and Kay (Wayne) Cullum of Marion; brother, Kent Bethay of Michigan City; step brother, Ted (Carol) Trumbauer of Greenwood; grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Sandy Bethay, in 2014; father, Wade Bethay; brother, Pet Bethay; and step father, Paul Trumbauer.

Funeral Service is 2 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior to service. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
