Joseph C. Shoaff, 85, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday February 17, 2009 at University Park Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born September 3, 1923 in Fort Wayne, he was a WW II Navy veteran and member of VFW post 857. He had worked for Slater Steel. He is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Greg) Hartwig of Fort Wayne; sister, Esther Coleman of Churubusco and a granddaughter, Nicole Rothgeb of Fort Wayne.
