Josephine S. Emmons, 79, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Lutheran Life Villages. She was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and then at the age of three her family moved to Marion, Indiana. A wife, mother and homemaker she resided in Fort Wayne for the last forty years. She loved dogs, reading, gardening and Indy car racing and will be missed by her friends. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jo McEntee of Denver, Colorado; sons, Terry L. (Sandy) and James H. (Rose) both of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Danielle, Christina and Joseph. She was preceded in death by her husband James M. Emmons in 1981; son-in-law, Steve McEntee in 2005; and one sister. Private Service at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.
