Judith A. Hammer, 59, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, May 02, 2009 at Parkview Hospital. Born August 9, 1949 in Battle Creek, MI, she was an administrative assistant at Wieland Furniture in Grabill and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. Formerly of Elkhart, she had previously worked as an administrative assistant at WSJV-TV in South Bend. She is survived by her husband, Allen B. "Brad" Hammer of Fort Wayne; son, Brendan (Vanessa) Hammer of Oak Park, IL; sister, Juanita Trujillo of Madison, WI and her niece & nephew, Lesly Winslow-Stanley and Matthew Stanley, both of Madison, WI. No services are currently scheduled. The family''s preferred memorial is the American Cancer Society''s "Relay for Life".
