Judith "Judy" Faye Newman, 79, passed on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born in Kentucky on November, 27, 1941, Thanksgiving day, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mae Combess. Judy is a longtime resident of Ft. Wayne, IN she retired as a CNA/QMA. Judy was a devoted partner, family member and friend who's love for her dogs could not be matched.

She is survived by her partner of 43 years, Roy Lapsley, sister, Deloris Cooper, and special nephew, Donald Combess, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Newman, siblings, William, Forest, Donald Combess and Bonnie Fetters.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.  Thursday, July 22, 2021 with calling prior from  10:00-10:45 a.m.  at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, She will be interred at Covington Memorial Gardens.
