Judith "Judie" C. Thomas, 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, she was a daughter of the late Bernard Fleck and Letha (Click) Heilman. She married Charles L. Thomas Jr. on November 2, 1957 and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2016. Judie loved her animals. She especially enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels. Judie liked taking care of plants and playing crossword puzzles. She was a member of TOPS. Surviving are her children, Charles (Rebecca) Thomas, Bernard (Cindy) Thomas, and Steven (Diane) Thomas; nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral service 10:00am, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also, Friday, July 28, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
