Obituary

Julia Rozalia Cioch Hagadorn, 86 passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Kingston Care Center on Washington Center Rd. where she was lovingly cared for over the last eight years. She was born August 26, 1928 in Potoki, Poland to the late Rozalia and Anthony Cioch. During WWII she was displaced to Ludwigsburg, Germany to work on a German officer''s farm. After liberalization she continued working in Ludwigsburg. While attending a USO dance in Stuttgart she met Fred Hagadorn, a corporal in the United States Army. Fred escorted her home and the rest is history. There were married July 7, 1948. September 13, 1948 a travel document was issued to allow her and Fred to travel to America. They brought along her beloved boxer, Merta. They settled back in Fort Wayne where Julia took care of an elderly relative and their new baby. She continued to care for family, one of her true passions in life. Julia also had a great love for dogs and flowers.

Surviving is her daughter, Rosalyn (Jerry) Isch, granddaughter, Nichole Reynolds, great-granddaughter, Maizy Reynolds, her social circle at Kingston Care and many nieces and nephews in Poland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Fred Hagadorn, a brother and sisters.

A private service was held at Covington Memorial Funeral Home and entombment was in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Kingston Care Center''s Mother''s Day Tea or S.P.C.A.
