Julie Kay Allen, 81, of Fort Wayne, went to be with Jesus Friday, January 2, 2026, at Kingston in Fort Wayne. She was born on March 18, 1944, in Lagro, Indiana, to Noel and Mary (Schafer) Huffman. She married Rex Allen, who passed away on January 12, 2020.

Julie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a longtime member of The Chapel in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed gardening, singing in the choir, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Stanley Sr. (Dorothea) Allen, Rhonda (Gary) Spaulding, Sondra (James) Beard, and Robert Allen; seven grandchildren: Stanley Allen Jr., Jonathan (Jess) Allen, Chrystal (Cole) Went, Colin (Taylor) Beard, Hayley Spaulding, Cameron Spaulding, and Kirsten Spaulding; six great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Wayneta Lahr, Doris Kellems, Connie (Butch) Chaplin, Karen (Earl) Murray, and Etta Mae Huffman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rex, and a sister, Linda Lou Huffman.
