Julie Marie Tempel, 31, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at home with her family by her side. Born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, she then moved here to Fort Wayne after her daughter, Kaitlyn was born in 2003 and then she married in 2007. She was a wonderful and supportive army wife, mother and homemaker; at times taking on the role of the mother and father.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Brian L. Tempel; her sweet daughter Kaitlyn L. Tempel at home; mother and father, Doris D. (Vexley) and Rick Tanner; sister, Brandi Havard; brother, Ricky Havard; maternal grandma, Joann (Russell) Bellislie; maternal grandpa, Thomas (Laura) Bexley.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandma, Jessie Havard and paternal grandpa, Samuel George.
