June Irene Hook, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. June was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on June 17, 1942, to the late Melvin P Garvin and Edith M. (Lust).

She was retired from General Electric, where she was an assembly-stock room keeper; she retired after 35 years of service. June had lived most of her life in the Ft. Wayne area. She was a very loving wife, mother, grand-mother, she enjoyed peonie flowers, and Pomeranians, which she had many over the years. June was an avid reader, a lover of all kinds of jewelry, taking rides and cars. She attended and was a member First Assembly Church of God.

June is survived by her husband: Donald; one son Steven Hook of Ft. Wayne; one daughter: Deborah Bowman-Kiefer of Venice, Fl.: grandsons: Chris and Michael Bowman; great-grandsons: Nicholas and Connor Bowman.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank and Calvin Garvin; one sister: Janice Garvin.
