Karen Yvonne Arbuckle, 71, died on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at home. She was born in Rochester, the daughter of the late Clyde and Helen (McCalla) Hoffman. She retired from Fort Wayne News Papers and then in her retirement in the deli at Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her children, Chris (Lisa), David (Tammie) Jamie, Cindy Aguilar and Susan Shirley all of Fort Wayne and Beth (Jeff) Houpt of North Platte, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren, Lyndsi, Kylie, Tia, Rachael, Tara, Mellissa, Chris Jr., Adam, Ryan, Lee, Austin and Preston; and 15 great grandchildren, Joseph, Breanna, Mathew, Andrew, Josanah, Juliana, Jazman, Janette, Adellina, Makayla, Chase, Devon, Braxton, Brendon and Brian.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hoffman; and grandson, Joshua King.

Funeral Service is 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Visiting Nurse. Following the funeral service there is a gathering at the American Legion Post 241, 7605 Bluffton Road.
