IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathy Marie
Ervin
October 21, 1955 – November 1, 2021
Kathy Ervin, 66, went home to Jesus in the early morning hours of November 1. She was born October 21st, 1955 in Fort Wayne to the late Raymond E. Sarrazin and Marion "Pat" Sarrazin.
Kathy was a graduate from Northside High School in 1974. She retired from GTE/Verizon/Frontier after 42 years of service in 2019. Kathy also attended Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church where she was a prayer warrior, faithful servant. Kathy also was a lover of the Earth. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, camping, spending time at the lake, and taking care of the Earth. Kathy loved taking care of humankind any way she could. She was very involved in Habitat for Humanity, she loved getting food to food pantries, making sure people had coats, hats, and gloves in the winter. You could also find her in her kitchen fixing food, or baking something for someone! If she knew what you liked you got it! One thing she is famous for are her monster cookies. That was a favorite by many! Kathy also had much love for her family. For they were the center of her world! She never missed a thing any of children, grandchild, adopted grandchildren, nephews, or nieces did. Making sure if they needed anything she helped them get it, or supported their activities. Even if it meant a ride to and from their activities. Simply put she loved spending time with her family and friends anyway she could! Even if it was just getting together to talk, and eating a meal.
