Kathy A. Fraelich, 74 of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday July 20, 2025, at Majestic Care. Born November 26, 1950, in Warren, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Larry and Ruth (Campbell) Keen.

Kathy lived a life filled with warmth, light and laughter. She had a contagious smile that could brighten any room and a joyful spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She cared deeply about her wellbeing and made it a point to stay active whenever she could.

Kathy loved to travel to Florida with her boyfriend Bill Mayfield. She found true joy in soaking up the sunshine and gazing at the palm trees. Those simple pleasures brought her peace and happiness.

But more than anything, Kathy cherished her family. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by those she loved, especially her granddaughters, who were the light of her life.

Kathy is survived by her loving son, Derick (Ashley) Fraelich; two cherished granddaughters, Ayla Fraelich and Breanna Bradshaw; and her dear brothers, Russell Keen and Jim Keen.

Services for Kathy will be held privately, with entombment at Covington Memorial Gardens.

Though she is no longer with us, Kathy's radiant smile and kind heart will continue to shine through the memories of those who loved her.
