Kay Schladenhauffen, age 74, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 12, 1935 in Adams Co. IN to Elmer and Frieda Kaehr Heyerly. She married Roger Schladenhauffen on May 31, 1953. She worked for Ft. Wayne Bible College and Wayne Press. She also worked with AWANA Club at the New Horizons Missionary Church where she was a member. She is survived by 2 Daughters, Beth Kerner (Steve), Ann Paynter (Chris), 3 Brothers, John, Sam (Sharon) and Dave (Jolene) Heyerly , 2 Sisters, Linda Holman (Harry), and Rebecca, "Becky", Durbin (Robert), 3 Grandchildren, Justin (Kim), Jamie, Megan, and 5 Great Grandchildren, Kayden, Elijah, Tiler, Matthew, and Daniel. Her parents and husband preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be Monday June 15, 2009 at 10:30am at New Horizons Missionary Church 1330 Werling Rd. New Haven with visitation one hour prior to service, and Sunday June 14 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven.
