Kay Francis Surface, 84, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Frankfort she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Zora (Laughner) Brammell. Kay married Lloyd Surface on December 29, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 2021. She was a faithful member of Anthony Wayne First Church of God. Kay enjoyed playing cards, gardening, being outdoors and camping. Surviving are her son, Mitchell Surface, God Daughter, Angela (Jenny Whiteside) Barnett, grandchildren, Amber, Paul and Haley; and soon to be great-grandchild, Adelaide Rose, due this August. Funeral service 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
