Kenneth Dale Bailey Jr., 76, passed away August 15, 2026, at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born on October 3, 1949, in Fort Wayne to Kenneth Dale Sr. and Ruby Jean Bailey.

Kenneth was very detail oriented and kept meticulous records, recording over 10,000 entries in his diary, dating back to 1967. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games and fishing with grandchildren. His wife Nina was everything to him and he cherished her until her passing.

He is survived by his son Adam Bailey; grandchildren, Sa’lil Bailey, Amber Bailey, Alex (Breonna) Bailey, Breanna Bailey, Clarissa Bailey, Darleen Bailey and step-grandson Evangel Kinyon; great grandchildren, Alex II, Jasper, Phoenix, James, Matthew, Isabella, Amelia, Thalia, Laxus, Emerald and Asher; a brother, Danny (Janice) Bailey; sister-in-law, Mamie Poling; nieces, Angel Boyles, Paige Kinney, and Samantha Noe; nephew, Robert Grear and daughter-in-law Kathaleen Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Dale Sr. and Ruby Bailey; wife, Nina; son, Jason; grandson, Kern; brothers, Michael and Richard Bailey; Aunt, Mary Lou Myers and nephew, Steve Myers.

A celebration of Kenneth's life is planned for Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Bob Arnold Northside Park, Parnell Ave. across from Northside High School, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A funeral service followed by internment at Marion National Cemetery will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
