Kenneth H. Buuck, 69, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was born November 24, 1951 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Herbert and Elnore (Hahn) Buuck. He is survived by his daughters, Andrea Sinclair and Amy Hurst; eight grandchildren: Cooper Jr., Blake, Tate, Silas, Allana, Tre, Kaden, and Unitas; and siblings, Gene Gugel, Laurel Stockamp, Cheryl Kohrman, and Denise Ramsey. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Larry Gugel and Jan Gocken.

Ken was a lifetime resident of Ft. Wayne, IN. He graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School. He was a valued employee of Momper's Insulation from which he retired in March 2019 after more 30 years of dedicated service. Thousands of homes in Ft. Wayne and the surrounding area will remain warm and cozy for years to come as a result of his hard work!

He was a die-hard fan of Colt's football and IU basketball, which only grew over the years. Rarely was he seen without a Colt's shirt or IU hat. He enjoyed cooking hearty meals (and eating them too!), which was fostered by his mother's culinary expertise. He was a life-long fisherman. He spent countless hours fishing with his dad and he shared his hobby with his daughters, most recently this past June on a father-daughter walleye fishing trip on Lake Eerie. He was also musically inclined. He played guitar. Cat Stevens and Neil Young songs were among his favorites.

To those who knew him well, he was a gifted storyteller with a knack for making people laugh. He was a kind and gentle soul with a big heart, which overflowed with love for his family, especially his two daughters, who were undoubtedly his greatest pride and joy in life. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Family will receive friends from 11:00am - 12:30pm Friday, November 26 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana  46804, with service to follow at 12:30pm.  The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Ken Buuck's name or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
