Kenneth R. Heiser, 86, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2006 at Regency Place in Fort Wayne. Born in Troy, Ohio, he was a Mechanical Engineer with RCA, John Deere and retired from United Technologies and was a World War II Army Veteran. Survivors include loving wife of 57 years, Thelma L. Heiser of Fort Wayne; sons, Daryl (Joetta) Heiser of Churubusco and Darwin (Brenda) Heiser of Mesa, AZ; siblings, Pauline Williams, Nelson Heiser, Janice Parlier, Jerry Heiser, Loyal Heiser, Iris Parlier, John Heiser, Ruth Foley and Carl Heiser all of New York; grandchildren, Shane, Sharla, Erin, Lindsay and Megan; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Service 11 a.m. Monday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
