Kevin D. Adkins, 60, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at home in Churubusco, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, he was a son of William Adkins and the late Sally (Mills) Adkins. Kevin was a graduate of Northrop High School. He worked as a press operator for Victor Reinz Valve Seals for 13 years. For many years, he volunteered at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary. Kevin enjoyed playing golf and pin ball tournaments at Wizards World. Surviving are his father, William Adkins; partner, Robin Lewis; daughters, Kyra (Robert) Rippe and Kellie (Chris Ashton) Adkins; niece, Candice Kunneke; brother, Rodney Adkins; and eight grandchildren. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Adkins; mother of his children, Kimberly Adkins; brother, Bill Adkins; and an infant sister. Memorial contributions may be made to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, Albion, IN. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
