Kurt Finton, 65, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on February 10, 1961, to Rex and Mary Ann (Eifrid) Finton.

Kurt served in the United States Navy and later went on to work in manufacturing. He enjoyed camping, playing golf, and hanging out with friends. He also enjoyed eating out at new places, but his favorite was going to Joanne’s for breakfast.

Kurt is survived by sisters, Janet Windsor and Debra Wright; and brothers, Jeff (Jacky) Finton and Tom (Teresa) Finton and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a military graveside service on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Gardens to honor Kurt's service to our country.
