Larry Evans Sr., 87, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Defiance, OH to the late Ed Edwin and Mildred (Wissler) Evans. Larry married Maxine Virginia Williams on September 2, 1972 and she survives. They owned their own dry cleaning business, Marvel Cleaners, for 58 years, retiring in 2016. Larry served honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed going junking, building model boats, boating on Lake Wawasee, driving and was a wonderful artist. Surviving are his children, Larry Evans Jr., Glenn Evans, and Monica (Doug) Pratt; sister, Mildred Dehaven; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Larry was also preceded in death by his brother, Art Evans; and sister, JoAnn Connin. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 47, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
