Laurel Jeanne Clepper, 90, went home to Lord Friday, April 13, 2018.  She was born July 23, 1927 in Zion, IL to the late Earl E. and Carrie O. Lee.  Laurel came from San Antonio, TX 8 years ago to Ft. Wayne.  She was member of North Park Community Church.  In her youth she played clarinet in Lakeview High School in Chicago and in the original Youth for Christ Band.  Laurel will be remembered as a devoted housewife and mother.

Surviving are her children, Lee B. (Cindy) Clepper, Daniel P. (Ruth) Clepper, Patricia J. Haase, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Laurel was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Warren Clepper in 2006 and 5 siblings.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at North Park Community Church 7160 Flutter Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN  46835 with viewing 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.  Preferred memorials are to Wycliffe or Samaritan's Purse.
