Laverne "Lucky" Virginia Buchwald, 76, passed peacefully at home, Friday, October 6, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter to the late Eugene Sliger and Addline (Brinker) Sliger. Lucky retired from Supermarket Services.

Lucky is survived by her children, Jeff, Randy, Lisa Gouge and Jason all of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Nicole, Tim and Sammy; two great grandchildren, Travayis and Nyaira "Peach"; siblings, June Hardesty of Fort Wayne, Sue Harrington of Kendallville, Bonnie Walker of Arizona and Eugene "Butch" Sliger of Illinois.

Lucky was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Arthur "Lenny" Buchwald, on July 27, 2017; son, Tim; and grandson, Tyler.

Celebration of Lucky''s life will be 11a.m. - 3p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at her daughters home Lisa.
