Leona F. Pelz, age 70, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 4:22 PM in Fort Wayne. She was the daughter of Henry and Eva Rich Schnepp who preceded her in death. She was the wife of Elvan Pelz and he survives. Other survivors include her sons, Mark and Dan Pelz and their wives, daughters Andrea Pelz and Carloyn Post and her husband, 6 grandchildren, brothers Bill and Dave Schnepp and sisters, Cheryl Tackett and Ellen Pinkerton. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Monson Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastors Terry McDonald and Harold Klinger presiding. Visitation will be Tuesday, May19, 2009 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home from 2-4pm and 5-7 pm. Burial will follow service at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, or the Monson Chapel Church Building Fund.
