Leonard J. Boner, 89, passed away December 13, 2012 at the south Bay Hospital in Sun city Center, FL. He was born January 26, 1923 in Ft. Wayne to the late Clarence and Iva Boner. Leonard was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in Germany and receiving a purple heart. He retired from General Electric in 1985.

Surviving are his daughter, Patricia Fiector of Springfield, OH and Sandra Bonner Robinson , Ft. Wayne, son, Len Bonner of Wimauma, FL., 4 granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Clarioc Boner in 1992 and his second wife Paula Boner in 2010 and an infant brother.

Service is 1:00 p.m. Thursday December 20, 20120 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 2 hours prior to service. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to donors choice.
