Lilla Mae Tolbert, 97, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her residence.  Lilla was born August 3, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant, Florida the daughter of the late Samuel and Jessie Ann (Cambell)  Moore.  She was a member and First Lady of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ.  Surviving is her husband, Rev. W. W. Tolbert, Jr.; son, William (Jetara) Tolbert and Timothy R. Tolbert; James Sullivan, daughters, Lily Pearl Walker; Janice Bibbs, Sister, Phara Griffin; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Tolbert; and two brothers.  Funeral service is 1:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
