Linda L. Bir, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away at her home Tuesday, February 16, 2021.  Linda was born January 26, 1948 in Long Branch, NJ a daughter of the late Carl R. and Virginia L. (Witzke) Kennedy, Jr.  She retired from North American Van Lines after 32 years of service.  Linda was a member of Coventry Baptist Church and she loved to read, garden, camp, walk, and travel going to state parks like Turkey Run and CCC camps.  Surviving is her husband, Michael J. Bir; brothers, Leon Kennedy of St. Pete, FL; and Michael (Sandi) Kennedy of Hudson, IN; and sister, Diana M. Minnick of Fort Wayne; nephews, Jeff Minnick (Danielle); Andrew Kennedy; and Brian Kennedy; and nieces, Jennifer (Charlie) Robinson; Adrea (Gerad) Samoleski Kristie (Sheldon) Kresse; and Tracy (Randy) Yoho.  Funeral service is 4:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with visitation from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home 5910 Homestead Rd.
