Linda M. Langston, 66, of Churubusco, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born on February 2, 1959, in Fort Wayne, to Arnold and Donna (Grier) Inman. Linda married the love of her life, Edward Langston, and together they shared 45 wonderful years.

Family was everything to Linda. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and especially enjoyed the warmth and togetherness of the holidays. Fall was her favorite time of year—she loved decorating her home and had quite a collection of scarecrows and snowmen. She found joy in traveling to the mountains, particularly Yellowstone National Park, where spotting black bears always brought her excitement.

Linda took great pride in her home and in everything she did. Her dedication and work ethic were evident throughout her career at INDOT since 1978, where she made many lasting friendships.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; children, Jeremiah Langston, Joshua (Erica) Langston, and Jessica (Travis Allmandinger) Langston; grandchildren, Aaliyah, Ethan, and Kaitann; great-nephew, Lincoln and great-niece, Sailor; and three siblings. Also surviving are two nieces whom she lovingly raised as her own, Samantha (Blake) Stevens and Tabatha (Steven) Laws, along with her beloved fur babies, Bearly and Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and again one hour prior to the service on Friday, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, with burial to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.

The family invites those attending to dress casually in celebration of Linda's life. Her coworkers are encouraged to wear something with the INDOT logo in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be directed towards the family for a fund set up for her three grandchildren.
