Lois Etta Cotterman, 90 of Columbia City, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at home. She was born December 25, 1927 in Allen County, to the late Clarence "Ted" Dafforn and Nola K. (Gross) Dafforn.  Lois married the love of her life, the late, Darold A Cotterman, on June 2, 1946, he passed on January 9, 2007.  Lois had worked for Frank's Greenhouse, Teghtmeyer's Ace Hardware and over 40 years at Mike's Sport Shop.

Lois is survived by daughter, Cheryl A. (Don) Wyckoff of Kendallville; son, Michael A. Cotterman of Columbia City; grandchildren, Wade (Brent Dickson) Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Nicole Wyckoff of Clayton, Missouri, Stacey (Rob) Schaper of Columbia City and David (Tay Yates) Cotterman of Columbia City; great grandchildren, Rachel Cotterman, Sara and Levi Schaper; step great granddaughter, Desiree (Austin) Daniels; step great grandchildren, Madeline Daniels, Rilan Schaper, Kaidan Hill and Kemeron Beezley; and a sister, Joann Gaff of Albion.

Lois was also preceded in death by, sister, Mildred Sheets; brothers,  Harry Dafforn and Theron "Gale" Dafforn; sister in law, Mary Louise Dafforn; and a brother in law, Walter Gaff.

She was laid to rest with her husband at Covington Memorial Gardens.
