Lois I. Landis, 81, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday February 26, 2013. She was born May 16, 1931 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Walter F. and Mildred I. Hinrichs. Lois worked 23 years at General Electric as an Assembler. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Church since 1992, serving as custodian for 10 years.

Surviving are her sons, Michael, David (Susan) Silver, Gregory (Andrea), Kevin (Suzi), Larry, step-son, Phillip Carpenter, Randy Landis, 9 grandchildren, Ben (Kelli), Chris, Jessica (Ben), Lily, Josiah, Hannah, Alicia, Shawn, Casey and 9 great-grandchildren, Jamie, Alana, Gabriel, Alex, Trinity, Isaac, Luke, Eli, Brody, sister-in-law, Jo Hinrichs, niece, Troye, nephew, Tony. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2003 and 4 brothers.

Services are 11:30 a.m. Saturday March 2, 2013 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
