Loren F. Booher, 86, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Wells County to the late James and Mabel Booher. The Army veteran retired from Dana after almost 40 years of service in 1986 during that time he was on their Athletic Association. He attended Anthony Wayne Church of God.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Booher; son, Robert Booher; daughter, Dianna (John) Scranton; brother, Gerald Booher; four grandsons; four step granddaughters; one step grandson; several great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Booher; and his daughter in law, Linda A. Booher.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Monday March 17, 2014, Anthony Wayne Church of God, 6012 South Bend Drive, with calling one hour prior. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Blanchard. Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are to the Church.
