Obituary

Lorena Edna Covey of Woodview Healthcare in Fort Wayne died August 17th, 2008 at Parkview Hospice. She was the daughter of John Soldner and Sara Zurcher. Born January 29, 1921, in Decatur, Indiana, she was a beloved homemaker. She was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church and attended Anchor Community Church. She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn (Charles) Bash, Linda (Steven) Bazzinett of Fort Wayne, and Cinda (Ric) White of San Marcos, Texas; two sons, Lynn (Mary) Covey and Richard Covey of Fort Wayne; grandchildren: Danny (Shaina) Covey, Chris Covey, Sarah Covey, Tonya (Jerry) Brummett, Heather (Paul) Bird, Joy (Chad) Neuenschwander, Ben Seward, and Denise Biddle; great-grand children Madeline Biddle, Rickie Stevens, Lynn Stevens, Stephanie Neuenschwander, Dylan Neuenschwander, Duston Neuenschwander, and Jessica Covey; sisters Loretta (Ray) Brooks of Geneva, In. and Katherine (Verne) Sprunger of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Srgt. Arthur Erwin Covey a WWII veteran and sisters Florence (Rudy) Braunner, Laura (Paul) Meyer, and Marie (Glenn) Macy. Services will be 10:00am Wednesday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road with calling there between 4-8:00p.m. on Tuesday. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the Salvation Army.
