Loretta Irene Foy, almost 95, passed Saturday, March 18, 2017. Irene born in Garrett, was a daughter born to the late, Jay Harrison Bidwell and Ethel Adela (Ritter) Bidwell. Irene was part owner of F&R Appliances with her husband. She had also worked for Eckrich, Bell Telephone, G.C. Murphy''s and Aunt Lu Lu''s Ice Cream Parlor. Some of Irene''s past memberships include, Bishop Dwenger Band Boosters, Election Board Clerk, Precinct Committeeman, Sec/Tres of the Crow''s Nest Yacht Club and Homemakers Club. Her family attended St Jude Catholic Church and School. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Irene is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, Joseph Frank Foy; son, Timothy (Lynn) Foy of Fort Wayne; daughters, Kathleen (Steven) Wolford of Fort Wayne, Maureen (Greg Breese) Foy of Indianapolis and Eileen (Gordy) Stafford of Fort Wayne; 9 grandchildren, Shawn Foy, Aimee Griggs, Jennifer Wolford, James Wolford, Mitchell Breese, Miles Breese, Adam Breese, Anthony Stafford and Cody Stafford; and 10 great grandchildren, David, Keanu, Brooke, Nora, Madison, Hudson, Caya, Graham, Gage and Cooper; sister in law, Elizabeth "Betty" Bidwell; three nephews, Daniel, Dennis and Dean Bidwell; niece, Debbie Cross.

Irene was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Jay Bidwell and Rutheda Mae Hibbins.

Funeral Service is Noon, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. Fr. Robert Garrow will be officiating. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Joseph and Loretta Scholarship Fund or Visiting Nurse.
