Lori J. Mitchell, 64, went home to her Lord and Savior, Tuesday March 29, 2016. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, to the late George E. and Geroline D. McKenzie. Lori retired from Fort Wayne State Developmental Center where she has worked as a Training Officer, QMRP and a Complex Director. Lori is a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her son, Christopher Mitchell, Alabama, daughter, Tiffany (Nate) Moraveji, Ft. Wayne, siblings Mark McKenzie, Chicago, Kelly McKenzie, Ft. Wayne 2 grandchildren Chase and Aubri Moraveji; 3 nephews, Eddie, Ryan and Nathan and one niece, Katlyn.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 2, 2016 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 729 W. Washington Blvd., with calling 2 hours prior to service. Interment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the church.
